Compact Flash Cards

About to get a 7D, so need to get a couple of CF cards to get me going.

Would these be ok? Not sure about all the different speeds etc!

They are a little slow, for a few pounds more you can have this. I've just bought a stack of their 16GB ones and they are very good

That first link said it was 600x but the image showed 300x. I think 300x is the genuine speed for the 8GB card.

I got some 16Gb Duracell CF cards and some 16Gb Duracell SDHC cards from 7dayshop. You wouldn't get them for wednesday though, but I can highly recommend the cards. I've been using them for a while and they are fantastic, the upload speeds are fairly accurate too.

Compact flash cards are certainly far more expensive than SD cards.

i have a kingston 16gb cf, dunno what speed it is but its good enough for me

I think I'm probably being irrational but I had an SD card corrupt once and since then I've only used SanDisk, and have been reluctant to use anything else. Thats continued with using CF now too.
