Compact camera for hillwalking

Hi,

Looking for a compact camera for when I go hillwalking and haven't got room/time for DSLR. Can anyone recommend good one for landscapes at budget of around £250.

you could have an eos m for that budget great camera for landscape work and tiny for the sensor size.

I like my Panasonic LX7 when I go hill walking.....nice and wide.

I'd second the LX7 suggestion. Here are a couple from my LX5 which is the older version though any of the enthusiast compacts will do - just find one that you like the feel of.

I use a Nikon S9700, I think It was £229.00 including free battery, terrific zoom, and wide angle as well.
