Hi all, I joined Talk photography as I have just retired and thought I was joining a community of like minded people.
I have been taking pictures since I was 12 and spent most of my working life in photography.
I don’t claim to know it all or be an expert but all I have encountered on here is insults and sarcastic remarks from some people on here who seem to be the clique.
It’s a shame I thought it was going to be fun.
 
I'm retired too Martin and have been 'into' photography for many years though am definitely no expert.
I haven't contributed to any of your threads and have no axe to grind with you, however from a read through one of your threads you come across as being very defensive and quick to take offence. I would suggest you take a step back and maybe consider that you have just joined this community of mainly helpful people and it could possibly be that it is you who are the problem rather than the community.
