In the process of creating a Community Forum website for my village something similar to Talk Photography and I feel Joomla/Drupal don't fit in here well.

What are my other options? :thinking:

For free forum scripts I don't think you can beat phpBB3, it's easily customisable with many available skins (Styles). It has the best admin interface of all the forum scripts I have tried and there are plenty of mods available if you don't mind hacking the code.

Another vote for PHPBB3.
 
I join the PHPBB3 fan club too, the only problem I have with mine is a little to many spammers, but I guess we all get that.
