Coming back into the fold!

Evening all
Just trying to start using the camera a bit more after sporadic use over the last couple of years. I kept thinking that I’d like to upgrade my d800, you know with all the new mirrorless/eye focus jazz that’s come out, but kept hold of my D800 as it was still a capable camera (for me).

Today a Facebook memory told me that I bought the d800 TEN years ago today for around 1800 new. That’s been exceptionally good value for me!

Looked at how much it would cost to upgrade……I think I’ll stick with the d800 for a bit longer

The D800 is still a good tool. I love having Sony AF, better lenses, but if it took great pictures 10 years ago (and it did) it will still take great pictures now.
