comic fans

I admit I'm one. 2000 AD from prog 1 and all the Hellboy series.
 
I'm more of a predictable marvel/DC fan myself but I'm looking to expand. Do any of you collect figures/memorabilia etc?
 
I have just about every issue of Star Trek (Original series, Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine and Starfleet Academy) by DC, Marvel and even Gold Key. I also collect Viz Comic going back to 1993 (but '81 to '92 in annual format).

It's only in the last couple of years I've started running subscriptions with Forbidden Planet, starting with when Dark Horse announced the Star Wars series set between IV and V. Trouble is the internet makes it to easy to keep adding interesting things to my subscription, so now have subscriptions running to:

Saga
Sandman Overture
Star Wars
The Star Wars
Ten Grand
Serenity : Leaves on the wind
The X-files season 10
(I think that's all of them)

I have some of the original run of Sandman as comics, including no.1 and no.13 ("Men of good fortune", which is one of my favorite bits of writing in any form), and all of them as "graphic novel" collections. It was Gaiman's novels that drew me to try comics in the first place.
 
Awesome stuff guys, I'm liking the Marvel Graphic Novel collection at the min, although they tend to run these things for years, I stopped collecting the figures and memorabilia last year as I had no more room haha.
 
I've been a comic fan for about thirty years, mainly Marvel, 2000AD and a few independents. My collection isn't enormous as I've had to clear space now and then.

As a sideline I started collecting the original art from my favourite series and artists about 12 years ago and even ended up repping a few of the better known British guys for a while.

My tip, never go drinking with a comic artist or writer, they can put away more than a rugby player or med student
 
I'm really enjoying the new 52 arcs at the moment. Reading them in kindle fire, which is so sweet for comics.
 
@FreakAccidentBoy I know the feeling about 'making space' I'm in the process of doing that now, it's hard deciding what to keep lol! I have some extremely rare holograms.
 
Ha! I think my parents want their loft space back. All the art is kept with me though:)
