You're ruling out Life of Brian with that date limit :(

There haven't been many good comedies made since 2004
all pre 2004
The man with 2 Brains
The jerk
Top Secret
any of the python films

Van Wilder: Party Liason
American Pie (1&2)
Shaun of the Dead
School of Rock
Naked Gun (all of em)
Animal House
Old School
Talledega nights

im sure theres more to add, but cant think this late on a sunday

The invention of lying was good

Thanks - I'll have a look at those.

I thought The Holiday was quite funny, although TBH I was just staring at Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz for most of it!

Also quite liked Couples Retreat.

You have to watch the Monty Python Movies.

Again, the Naked Gun films, Airplane! is also brilliant.

Swingers (yes really) is also a good comedy.

Anchorman and The Hangover.

Two of the most quoted film.

Good shout with Swingers Lawrie, one of my favourite films.

Can't beat The Big Lebowski too!

No pre 2004 means no Caddyshack!!!! Why would you do that to yourself???

I'm not anti pre 2004, just some of the old classics and stuff I really don't like! Probably a result of my dad forcing old movies and tv shows on me from age 6!

Austin Powers - but only the first one, at a push the second (but only for heather graham) and not the third!

Absolutely. Gawd, the list could go on and on! Then there's Young Frankenstein and, possibly the best comedy ever made, Blazing Saddles.

And from the same stable, the original version of The Producers, with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, which, for me anyway, trumps Blazing Saddles.

Yep, always enjoyed The Producers but Blazing Saddles has always had the edge for me. Mel Brooks was a comedy genius....................then he did Spaceballs! :(

Weird Science,
Brewsters Millions
Money pit
The Original Kings of Comedy (granted not a film, but still quality)

Happy Gilmore
Hear No Evil See No Evil (can't believe no one mentioned this!)
Friday
Next Friday
Friday After Next
Don't Be a Menace While Drinking Your Gin and Juice in the Hood
House Party

Due date.
I was expecting it to be rubbish but there are plenty of laugh out load moments.

Yep, funny movie....2 most memorable bits for me;

On approaching the border..."sorry, I thought it said Texaco"

Then, upon realising the coffee was his dad, having a coughing fit then drinking more!

:lol::lol::lol::lol:
