Dean:)

betty its too early what are you playing at - are you one of those that leave them up till thte end of january as well?

I don`t like chri..............OK, i`ll shut up.......:)

I ordered a 12 foot jobbie for our office and a 21 foot jobbie arrived today. I have had the piddle ripped out of me all day and about 50 phonecameras pointed at me whilst trying to manouvre the tree up two flight of stairs. We only managed this by chopping half of the top and half off the bottom. It's now in the office but on it's side. I have to go in tomorrow to make it work or I get more stick on Monday. It's about 10 foot wide :bonk:

I always put our tree and all the decorations in the loft so the wife cant put it up till i say so.

She cant get up there!

ours is going up this weekend so will post when up.

Ours ain't up yet, but here's one from Christmas 2006! Our first few days after moving into our apartment. Bless. :|

The ginger biscuits were very nice, irresistible in fact! :p

well perhaps if youd hung one of those gingerbread hearts on the opp side it may not have toppled over :lol:

Oh no, it hadn't toppled over, it was naturally that shape!
To be completely honest, it was a stray! My girlfriend 'found' it on her way home from the pub! She took it in and we gave it a loving home with ginger breads and tinsel. :D

You sure it was ginger biscuits, that tree looks like it's been on the ginger ale all night

Tell me about it.

Almost EVERY shot I tried las night had two lights at the top in true Dalek fashion. That's why I ended up with a straight on shot. My tree is 2 bits of board stuck together at right angles and I'm not sure taking a shot from above or below would change the Dalek image it has.

Exterminate! :D

each to their own I guess!!

I'm reliably informed that our tree is going up this weekend... Ho Hum (Bah Humbug...)

Bah Humbug!!!!

The wife says "i going to put the Christmas up" to which i reply "Up where?"
The ice pack is helping to keep the swelling down.

Dean:)

The brat is having a sleepover, so her and her friend are, as I type, getting the artifical tree from the loft and preparing themselves to put it up in dining room. MY real tree will go up in the living room sometime this week when I have been over to wendover woods to collect it :D

Ya see, that's what it's all about for me, when you mention you've gone out to the woods to collect your tree that's just how it should be in my opinion.
I think that's fab!
It was a day of doom when my folks got fed up with all the needles on the floor come Boxing Day, the year after that my Mam inflicted a plastic tree!
There were many tears and a great sadness. :(

Ok when I said a bit early... I might have been wrong.. We have ours up...

Well I have to admit, I normally end up at a local garden centre, but living in London for the last 4 years, I have never been able to find a Scots Pine inside the M25, so this year I am doing away with the usual nordman fir and heading out of town to a forrestry commision place in the woods where I can an pick me tree of choice and I can't wait! And of course, I will be accompanied by a Nikon ;)
