Errrr hello, because he is??? And there is nothing wrong with being Scottish so why is that a problem...Just do a search on google and you'll see the same factual references to his Nationality everywhere....Don't see why it deserves a thumbs down? Can't anyone be proud of their background or nationality?

Anyway surely this is about a positive event and wanting someone to win opposed to pick an argument on the internet?

Sorry, you are right. Just googled Andy Murray and all the results describe him as a boring Scottish git.

If you were to describe him as an awesome player, you wouldn't say an awesome Scottish player would You?

I think the fact that he's boring is fairly irrelevant too.
His tennis isn't.
He's playing another grand slam final, not appearing on Parky.

I'm not sneering at the Scots, I am definitely sneering at Andy Murray.....I'm merely expressing my opinion whilst supporting him as well, us adults can appreciate what someone does without having to like them...Heck, plenty of time he reflected on himself as a boring individual....I agree with him, but are also proud he is a great tennis player...I'd love to be as boring as he comes across and play tennis like that

It would be an opinion if you said you thought Andy Murray was boring, but you didn't. You said he was a boring Scottish git, which is argumentative, in my opinion.

Unfortunately....I think it will require a miracle to get him to come out on top.....Shame as it was a great effort getting there....
