Coloured gel set - Damian Lovegrove alternatives?

Before I buy Lovegrove's set of gels, anyone know of cheaper alternative? Must be at least 12" x 12" sheets to fit studio light reflectors. I'm 99% decided on this set but could be swayed of course

I use the set from farnell. I'll dig out the link in a mo, but it includes about 12 larger sheets of gel that can cut into 4 pieces, so you get 4 gels (monobloc sized) for each colour...

the lovegrove set isn't bad value, but it is... a lot of colours.

Lee filters do a pack of 24 gels for approx £30.00 24" x 21". Got mine from Bob Rigbys near macclesfield.

Interesting... That sounds like the pro pack, but they are normally £60-70

Mmm maybe i'm a little out on the price there. i was buying single sheets for 2.50 +vat and noticed the pack of 24 while i was in there seemed a lot cheaper to me though than buying the single sheets.

Yep, I used to buy it by the roll and would normally have 5-10 different rolls on the go at a time.
