Hi All,
I'm currently working on my sports and action block at college just now. I've got some colour slide film, but I can't remember if you should underexspose or over exspose by a stop? or if anyone has any handy tips on how they do it? With their being no latitude with colour slide I have to get it right. I've got colour Neg to use aswell but I'd rather do slide as I feel I get a better result and I can develop slide film in the college, but I can't develop colour neg.

I always used to under expose by about half a stop, otherwise you may get blown highlights which are not recoverable.

When using a lightmeter (which is pretty accurate anyway) I over and underexpose by half a stop each side.

Under-exposure by half a stop is generally accepted for reversal film to get the best colour saturation.
