I'd say most don't.
If you are only taking and printing your own pics then you can use any colourspace you want. If wanting to display on the web they will ideally need converting to sRGB and some online printers only seem to accept sRGB also.
Unless you have a high end monitor and similar printer, you won't see the additional colours within the Adobe RGB colour space and your printer probably can't handle those colours either.
Your best bet is to stick to sRGB. This way you will get a reasonable match to your screen. I'm a bit concerned as to why you should set your printer to a colour space rather than a printer profile ?
