Hi there I was playing around in CS3 with colour settings when I was trying to create a transparent gif for my website. I cannot remember what I changed, however whenever I load an image now for editing from Lightroom I get a warning message saying the colour profile does not match the curreent RGB working space. It says the embedded in ProPhoto RBG and my working is sRGB iEC..... So what should my colour space be set to? Up until I played with it over thweekend never ever had any warning messages appear. I'm affraid this is one area I'm really clueless in.

Thanks

Don't worry, simply tick the "convert to working space" option when the message pops up. It'll do the conversion on the fly for you.

Go to the Lightroom preference, and under external editors you'll see the options for type ( TIFF, or PSD) and an option for colour space. Set that to sRGB and the problem will go away.

Chappers, thanks for the reply that did the trick. Had a small panic as what I was seeing in lightroom, then in CS3 were fine until I saved it as PSD and opened it again in Lightroom - everything had gone much cooler. But setting to sRGB worked

Thanks
