Im struggling to get consistent colour output on my files export via lightroom and its starting to annoy me especially with submitting some stuff to stock.

In short, im using a laptop (so not a wide gamut or great screen) but it IS calibrated with Huey.

Editing photos in lightroom i get a nice blue water colour (a lot of my stuff is underwater). Editing the LR created .tiff in PS also looks identical to lightroom.

The problem i have is when i export the JPG (sRGB) it looks wrong - the blues have a horrible reddish hue on them.

When viewed in windows photo viewer these JPGs look very very red tinged. Opening that JPG back into PS and often it looks horribly red on there too.
The JPGs are exported at 95% quality and full size so its unlikely to be a compression issue.

Oddly when i upload the same file to an external server or even flickr and view it in Chrome (which isnt colour managed) it seems to be fine.

An example below. The left hand side is the windows photo viewer screen capture, the right hand is the exact same file uploaded to a WWW server:

Capture.PNG

Any idea how to get a consistent output? Ive got the images looking exactly as i want in LR/PS just cant get the jpgs to look like that. Im not sure if its a local problem with viewing them or a problem with the jpgs themselves. Obviously as im submitting the photos to places i dont really want to be submitting stuff that has a colour cast etc but not really sure how to fix.

Im trying to establish if the red is "real" in which case i need to work out why LR is displaying wrongly and alter the photos or if its not a real issue then i can just upload and ignore the fact they look odd locally.

I've noticed the same red tinge and know exactly what you mean, I'm using LR4 and also have my screen calibrated using Spyder 4 Elite, I've noticed in particular that reds/oranges look incorrect on exporting to jpeg using (srgb) and have even tried Prorgb and nothing seems to fix it...

so when I export to flickr from lightroom, it will always look at lest 10% better in lightroom than on the internet. If you find a solution let me know!

Try a simple test. Take your jpegs , and in Photoshop enable the Gamut Warning, and see if you get any alerts.

You could also try the Monitor out of gamut warning, within the soft proofing option in Lightroom's develop module.

Enable soft proofing, and on the left side of the histogram is a monitor symbol. This alerts you to the fact the colours are out side the monitors gamut

Additional you could try simply dialling back the Vibrance setting and see if this helps. This , if my understanding is correct ,will reduce the more saturated colours leaving those that are less saturated unaffected.

With soft proofing in LR i get a slight warning for "monitor" out of gamut on sRGB but the entire water column is often highlighted as the destination device warning. This is often on the ones that produce purple JPGs.

No warning importing the purple jpg into photoshop and i'll try it with the TIFF using the "edit in" in a bit.

Edit:-

If anyone wants to try it ive exported the LR catalog with the original RAW file, my develop settings and the purple exported JPG to here:
