What should I view an exported image in to proof check for printing ?

I have a B&W image that I want to send for printing. I've exported a version using sRGB and a DSCL colour profile.

If I open both jpegs in chrome browser the DSCL profile has a definite magenta colour cast that the sRGB one doesn't, hopefully this will show it:

DSCL profile on the left, sRGB on the right.

If I use IE the colour cast isn't really visible, so the two browsers are obviously rendering it differently.

I just want to make sure the image I send to DSCL doesn't have the cast as I don't want it on the print.

I have mentioned this already tonight on another thread. 90% of my work is monochrome and I also use DSCL with excellent results. As you have already found out, when you apply the DSCL profile to your image, it will slightly add a colour cast, so I just open up Levels and use the black eye dropper and mark the part of the image that I want to be black, otherwise just play with the sliders until you get the image to look the way you want.

Ok thanks, I've played around but I can't really fix the cast, lightroom doesn't really have "levels" as far as I can make out. I'll just keep playing with the sliders.
