I just posted an image on another post and noticed the colouring between the image in LR and my browser when viewing on here is noticeably different. Has anyone else noticed this happen when posting images online compared to when viewed in LR / PS etc?

Do you mean the colour shifts, or just looks a bit flat? What's your working colour space? If your default is other than sRGB, then when you're repurposing an image for the web, convert to sRGB before or during the saving process ....?

If you 'Save For Web' then what you get is an approximation of the colour gamut based on what is deemed a safe average for rendering via the internet. It is unlikely to be the same as what you perceive when working with the original image on your home computer, where the gamut will be much more rich.
Ok.... this is what happened....
Shoot in raw. Download to PC in import to LR4. Edit until I am happy with the image on screen. Export to jpg. Upload to FB and then link through to the image on here. The colours are noticably different between the image on LR4 and the one viewed on here in the browser (Firefox)
