Being still very new on this forum I am still finding my way around and looking at what's what. I have looked briefly but cannot find anything of developing and printing from colour negatives using the C41 and RA4 processes.. Any users out there?

I recently started C41 developing using Bellini chemicals, but although I have bought the RA4 chemicals and all the kit for printing, I still haven't been able to do any due to a multitude of excuses . . .

Once you get the hang of it, It will become addictive! Plus, a bit expensive now. The first print that I made that was anywhere near to being right I almost did cartwheels down the hall

I'm sure it will be - I've been wanting to do it for many years, but have only recently gained the room and the kit to do it. I have colour negatives going back over fifty years since I started photography and it would be nice to re-print some of my 'lost' ones.

I don't have any colour negatives as old as yours , I only started colour work in the early 1990's and it was a steep learning curve. Some of my negatives which are nowhere near as old as some of yours and have actually faded very badly. It is only in the past 10-15 years that a dedicated stabiliser has been readily available and they have been a lot better lasting without fading.
Since around 2012 colour film, chemicals and papers have gone up in price and reduced in choice so now we have a very slimmed down source. You used to be able to buy a 36 exp of Fuji film for around £3 some places are now charging 4 times that. Actually Bellini chemicals have a bit of a good reputation.

There used to be at least 4 colour papers available (Kodak, Fuji, Agfa and Sakura) and a plethora of film. We now only have Fuji paper and 2 or 3 suppliers of chemicals which are still available. Some films are still in short supply. since the Covid episode - I don't know why!

Ilford has developed it's own colour C41 film which has been released for public testing and is very much a 'work in progress' stage. I am not going to do Ilfords testing for them I will try it when they have ceased 'testing'.

I do some C41 processing but no printing, there have been a few threads about C41 and E6 but they tend to be about specific issues.
