Color shots from 1939 England

It's remarkable just what has and hasn't changed. Bet there'll be no digital shots around this old in years to come.

Yeah there will be, don't worry. There will be even more digital shots of the future past than there are decent colour shots of the present's past.

They will lose their wonder. They'll seem ordinary. It's the rarity, and because we're a generation not used to seeing the past in colour that fascinates us. Future generations will have a glut of high resolution, colour images of the past and will never have that sense of time travel and wonder we do. That's the sad part... not that their won't be any images.
