Hi Guys,

Just thought I would share this with you.

I recently downloaded the ColourEyes 10 Day Demo from the official site:

http://www.integrated-color.com/productdemo/demo.html

after install select Start Demo. It stated on my PC and Laptop 9999 Days until Demo Expires ;) but never goes down. Retails at $175.

Its not had anything illegal done, just looks like a programming problem with the demo.

Hope it works for you all.

It doesn't expire but puts a watermark on any image you use it on.

I downloaded it, and it definiely runs the clock down (OSX)- I fell in love with the program and now i'm $175 down, thanks...

? But it's a monitor calibration tool ?

Seems to work fine both monitors now look the same for the first time. Mind the brightness is lower than that using the Eye one match software, I'll try some printing to see how I get on.

on my screen I couldn't get the brightness lower than 180cd using eye one match, even with the brightness at the lowest setting- I nearly bought a new monitor. Colour eyes can get it down to the required 120cd level. Still looking for a new monitor though

I noticed this as well. Not quite sussed it yet though.

Finally got around to do some printing and the printouts from my canon printer are alot brighter than they look on screen, mind I am not sure waht this means in terms of the calibration carried out via color eyes??????

Looks as though the brightness aim you have set is to low, as you suspected. Not sure what brightness level you have set, but try increasing it by 20 cd/m2 see if that helps.

Mine is set to 130 cd/m2 and that gives a good screen-print match

If im reading there website correctly, do i also need some other type of callibration 'instrument' to make this work:suspect: My monitor definately needs attention, but its £'s i'd rather be spending elsewhere at the moment :) cough, lens cough

yep you need something like a spyder 3, huey or an xrite 1 match (the best me thinks)

Thanks John that the brightness sorted now slight adjustment needed to colour
