Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me with how to make a frame in Photoshop or better still if there are any templates out there.

My mum wants a picture for Christmas, same as the one below, I can take the pictures but I have no idea how to make the frame in Photoshop, do any of you guys have any links to any frames similar to this plus where would I get something like this printed (if I get the frame)?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Billy

Confused.

Do you mean a template for use within Photoshop to allow you to make a collage of multiple images?

Or do you mean a template for use within Photoshop to produce a border like the window mount in the photo you've posted?

Or do you mean where can you buy a physical picture frame?

In terms of printing, the usual suspects are DS Colour labs, Loxley Imaging, Photobox, depends on what you want to spend.

Hi and thanks for your reply, I mean a template to use in photoshop so I can add my own images to make the collage. Then send it off to be printed and once it's back I will then get it mounted and framed at a local shop.

HI
Very interested in this as I'm thinking along the same lines. Ny idea is to arrange all the photos (resize etc.) in Photoshop and then get the whole collage printed as one big photo. Some of my photos have text printed on a border....anyone know how this text will be printed...if at all possible, at the lab. Sorry if I've hijacked but it is along the same lines.

Google picasa has a collage maker for free. Just select the photos you want in it and it sorts it for you.

Photobox have some kind of online collage generating thing, providing you print with them as well. I haven't used it, but I've had prints from them in the past which have been very good.

Thanks I'll have a look at photobox I had a look for a few templates on google last night but I could only find templates with up to 8 frames I want about 30 - 40 frames to make the collage.

I don't know about photoshop but elements 10 has a collage/montage creating thing so I would assume photoshop has too.
You can drop in as many images as you like and move/resize as you wish - not being very good at Elements it took me a few minutes to get my head around it but it is pretty straight forward.
