weekly Colin 52 challenge

Linked - Not keen on this one I'm afraid.

Step - Feels a bit flat. The wet steps help but I don't think the lighting has. Worth a retry though.

Hi Colin :)

Steps - I'd prefer to see the top cropped off this one, as said the bushy thing is a tad distracting, the actual wet steps have some interest for me, so feel the image does not need the doorway :)

Now Colin, that's one freaky sheep. Well spotted and nice detail.

Pity you couldn't have isolated a few of the sheep especially so the BG sheep weren't there.

Cheers.

HI Colin

Steps.....framed to draw your eye to the door , like the low POV.....(y) maybe a shallower DOF would help a little to lose some of the distractions ( conservatory for one) & it seems a little blue on my screen ?

Nature...what a strange color but a good spot.....looks a little oof to me ?

Is that really real? I ain't never seen a ginger sheep :ROFLMAO:...

I don't mind the ones around him, but I might have stepped to the right (if poss) to seperate them from the ones in the distance.

But for sheer unusualness it works for me.

It was real

comments as above good spot but a little out of focus

actio good sense of speed there, and i lie the colours in the visor...

nice snow capped mountain there for mono - seems possibly a little busy with the trees but you've found good foreground intersest which is always my biggest challenge for landscapes

Action- plenty of motion blur and good dof Colin, have to agree with Craig though, it does look a little soft

Really like your mono, stream, snow topped mountain, I don't mind the l trees but would have been tempted to clone out that branch sticking in from top left :)

HI Colin

Action....yup on theme .Soft it does seem plus a little dark.....with a bit of work I suspect those colors could really pop

Mono... though for a minute that was Loch Etive B( can't spell the rest of it !) but maybe not as don't recall the rh tree being there! Good foreground interest which is always a challenge (y) again could maybe do with being a smidge lighter to bring out the shadows a bit more ?

Action - Certainly says action and I like the space in front of the kart for it to move into. However the focus has let you down although the panning has been done just right.

Mono - A classic scene which has been nicely captured and well converted to mono.
