Since purchasing a Minolta fit Sigma lens a week ago I have bought zero (0) new camera equipment. Just say :nono:

I have not bought anything this evening. I also didn't drink this evening. Not suggesting that there is any link between the two :D:D

Well I only bought 1 camera yesterday (although I did bid on 3) and so far today none at all. I'm a good boy me.

Well I bid on a camera last night but the price was going up and up so I dropped out.

Mind you there was a body on BIN which did not sell :suspect: so may send an email later

TC? Just sold mine Mr X, the only Autoreflex I have (and am keeping) is the half/full frame one... it's the other Konicas I collect

I'd been doing so well recently - hadn't bought anything camera/lens related for 3 weeks*. Then I dropped off the wagon yesterday... I'd been looking for a FD 35-105 f3.5 macro ever since I got the A-1, but they'd been going for silly money - £60-£120. Well - last night I spotted one, miss-labeled on the auction... picked it up for £22 posted, which I can live with, tbh!

*hadn't a choice, tbh - this month, I've had to replace the entire drivetrain on the MTB, it's rear wheel, a full set of seized bearings in the road bike wheels, and 2 pairs of shorts had gone so threadbare i'd had to buy more at the requests of fellow clubmates! Call it £450... Cycling - pah! - if only it wasn't the only form of exercise that didn't bore me to tears...

I've been thinking you know - this sort of thread ... is it legal? I mean, actually coming right out and saying "I have not bought any toys today..."

Pretty sure if the thread itself is not illegal then the sentiment certainly must be...

I dunno - I'm pretty much all for a "Buy Less - Shoot More" kind of approach - especially as I've now got pretty much a full drawer in the freezer dedicated to film... It just seems that I've not really managed to get any shooting done recently either - apart from a couple of paying jobs (one of which the person paying for the work actually asked to be shot on film :woot:) i've done very little. Perhaps it's just the time of year - as I've said over and over, I'm more of a landscape person, and prefer the golden hours for shooting colour. Unfortunately, at this time of year that's very early indeed, or after 7:30 in the evening, both of which I have problems with getting relief carer's in to keep an eye on my dad  I'm thinking more and more of picking up a (whispers) IR converted digital body, so that at least there's something I can shoot at mid-day in summer and it not just be a happy-snap!
