I have the same dilemma at the mo...I'd be interested to see what people have to say.

Cokins are famous for colour casts. You should be aware of those already with 'p'. Lee are neutral, and my Hitech is also very very good. Maybe try hitechs

Agreed with the hitechs. Good value for money if you can't afford lee or just don't use them enough to justify.

thanks for the info guys I had also looked at hitech as well would like to hear from some lee filter user`s as I may just have to wait save some more money for a set of lee filters if they are really that good not taking anything away from hitech or cokin but if I was going to buy some I may as well make the right choice now

I have the 85mm hitech with 3mm gasket and find that if the sun is out, you get leakages. It also has quite a blue cast ( although I'm yet to set a custom WB so this may help ) and suffers from some flare as well

This was with auto WB, out of the camera.

So I'm also thinking about upgrading to lee as they appear to be more neutral.

Up graded from cokin a couple of years ago and found a big leap in quality , so worth it for me .

Raymond what did you upgrade to after the cokin
