I'll get you guys added tonight.

Was just talking to the guys at work, 4 of us have this game now. Some of the maps are like running through the firefights in Black Hawk Down. Really really atmospheric. Especially when an RPG flies across your face as you're running for cover. Amazing. I can't remember the last time I was as enthusiastic as this about a computer game.
 
im now up to level 46, played around 12 hours over the weekend, i think im addicted to it....

The shottie is great to use in Favella. Like in CSS, close combat. The levels are pretty stunning eh.
 
Is it not the most atmospheric thing when you hear "ENEMY AC-130 INBOUND!" followed by the shriek of a 105mm round and a monstrous explosion that launches hundreds of kilogrammes of dust into the air?

I just started playing throught the single player campaign last night on the PC and I was blown away with how cinematic and intense it is... excellent game.

Oh, and everyone must play this game with Turtle Beach 5.1 headphones, its a must :D

Been thinking about making a thread each time I see someone add their tag to this thread.

An online TP clan/group of friends would be awesome! Especially for the mixture of skill levels!

Every map gives double XP as some celebration of the release of the package. Some good games to be had though although I seem to be put in with all the 7th level prestiges on a map they have sussed! Love this game though, for me one of the best games ever released.
 
Quick question, what happens if you buy the map pack, but your friends don't? Can you still play with them? Say I joined a friend's session, then the next map rotated to a new one, obviously I wouldn't be able to play, so what happens? New to this DLC thing, sorry if it's blindingly obvious!

You can only play on the new maps in a special new game type called Stimulus (or Stimulus Hardcore)

So if you're playing with friends who don't have it you'll just have to use the regular game types and maps

hope that helps lol :D

lol yes it quite frustrating to buy the maps then not be able to play them for 2 days but they are available now :D

has anyone played the new battlefield ? all my mates have it but im not tempted so far.:thinking:
 
Have just booted my PS3 for the first time in ages to d/l the packs and have a blast on them tonight :D
 
Good luck with that, M$ paid a fat wad of cash to get them as an xbox exclusive for 30 days, so we've got a bit of a wait!
