Sadly, Spike died on 26th November 2016
He had been suffering from renal disease, and during surgery following a scuffle with one of the females, he had a crisis, and the decision was made to euthanise him.
He was 16 years old, and sadly, due to the nature of the pride, it doesn't look like it will be possible to introduce a new male.
I'll miss old Spike.
