weekly Cobra's epic fail for 2015, week 52 A Christmas shoe horn and done :)

bit spoilt for choice here.

I see the vertical in the first image, but I'm not sure about the mono.
The tiger though, is a cracking shot
and the bird - it just looks so gangly and mad you can't help but smile :-)

Yeah liking the detail in the stone Chris !!! - but not central because you would loose the LH stone lol :D
I wondered about that too TBH :D

For some reason I am also actually pleased to see some animal shots crowbarred in too... what have you done to me
PMSL its infectious isn't it?
Don't worry, I'm sure I'll crow-bar in loads more "animals" before this is done :D

Thanks for dropping by Dean (y)

Bold - love it especially the image on the left, I can tell they were genuinely pleased to see you :D. My only bit of crit is I find the blades of grass a little bit distracting.

Relax - an interesting take for the theme I like your edited pic.

Vertical - well I think you have covered your own crit with it not being central. But it does fit the theme so works for me .

Well they were not actually that brave, or bold even, they were semi hiding behind some reeds :D

Hard to pick for vertical this week but photographic wise North Face of E(T)tiger for me.
Thanks Stan

This was just too good an opportunity to pass up :D
(Just for fun BTW)
So, as per the link page, some of these animals have a mouth on them, I asked the Cheetah for a gob shot and she said you can ...

But then said, Ha Ha! just kidding.

Good one said the Lynx

Someone is getting an ear'ole bashing

'till Spike stepped in to sort the women out!
( shot facing into the setting sun BTW)

Crackers all Chris. ..but then we'd expect no less! :-)
That second shot is a belter.
Lovely light too.

I have to say Chris, you do not disappoint. A stunning set, in fact a may go as far as to say possibly among the best I've seen from you. No 4 stands out because of the warm colours

#4 and a quick question. Is this week the most you've ever been tagged in a week on TP?

#4 is my choice simply because of context. You shoot great mouths - don't get me wrong. It's just that the broken tooth and the roar recipient really add a lot to the shot. In fact, it turns it from a "gob shot" into something far more.

Much appreciated Chris

LOL It seems I have something of a "reputation" around these parts, doesn't it ? :D

I must admit that it was hard work today, hoards of screaming kids all pushing and shoving, around the "cats"
I thought I was gonna come away empty handed TBH.
But the last couple of hours before chucking out time and it went much quieter, the animals started to co-operate after that ;)

Thanks for dropping by Ian

first rate

#5 is the top shot .... cuddly too.

Great story telling Chris :)

I like them all but #4 takes the prize :clap::clap:

But I'm going to take points off as you didn't feed any of the annoying children to the animals. I know most zoos have signs asking you not to feed the animals but I'm sure you could have made an exception

Mouth - well well aren't we spoilt for choice here, I rather like them all.
Thanks Mandy

Thanks David, he's quite an old boy now, but I still don't think I'd risk trying to cuddle him :D

Fair point well presented :(

Unfortunately there are very large double glazed panes a good 20 feet tall,
with with heavy duty wire as a roof separating the lions from "us"
The logistics would have been a bit of a nightmare TBH :D

Hi, have to say I like the expression on the cheetah in the first shot, but all very much on theme (y)

That's a really classy set of images you've got there Chris. Difficult to pick a favourite, but I think # 4 just has the edge

LOL it took me ages to get them trained to do that on command too :D
Thanks Summer

Just catching up on a few of the latest ones...

Vertical - Nice photo. I prefer the mono personally. The only crit is as has already been mentioned.

Mouth - Plenty to choose from there! Like the story with the first two. The second one looks a touch noisy in the BG though (nit picking - sorry). 3rd, 4th and 5th are all great and I agree with the others - 4 is a belter (y)

No problem Lee, its a bit of a hefty crop, shot through glass, I agree it is a bit on the noisy side .
Thanks for stopping by and commenting

"Crowd"
I'm well behind this week so a couple of archive place holders.
Spike was playing to the crowd, as always ;)

And I guess it gets a bit crowded in Cheetah rock ;)

Mouth #5 is great, but maybe the shadows could be lifted a tiny bit. I love #4, with the setting sun behind it could have been taken anywhere, it could be bedfordshire... it could be the plains of Africa.

Aren't Lions sh*t at leapfrog?... He's never going to make it!

The eye contact with the Cheetahs is nice.
