weekly Cobra's 52 surreptitious Shoe-horns for 2016 week 52 celebrate and done

#1 is a great photo, very well composed and processed, and fits the brief... But of course I prefer #2 with the naughty meerkat game. Simples.

...........

Well, lets be honest, I wasn't actually expecting to die was I? :D

Cheers Dean (y)
I did think about smoke from the gun, and a bit of tomato sauce ( :D ) splashed on the table, but wanted to keep it a little light.
Sounds a really exciting shot now

The Russian roulette is spot on !
Cheers Chris :)
I am sick of bloody meerkat's nasty little rats, all over the TV :)
I tried to get them to join in, but the zoo keeper was less than helpful :D

Love the processing on the first shot, the lighting works really well.
Hi Chris welcome back, and thanks
What were the meerkats doing though :p
Looking for mealworms I believe

Blimey, that's a surprise from you :p
Every now and again Ilike to play the game by the rules :D
A selfie indeed
At least I keep my cloths on :D

Great shot there Chris, gritty and well cropped
Thanks Jill :)

Playing by the rules again :(
Lioness.jpg

Tortoises never rush anything ....
And as he is smiling ..... maybe its more serendipitous than serene?
(yes I know, harsh light through the bushes = a snow scene :( )

The shot of the lions is a lovely image and spot on for the theme, very well caught. Not sure about the tortoises...

Get you on theme twice in a row, I'm not sure I can handle it :runaway:

Thank you for removing the commas:) its strange how the male tortoise is on the female, one would think he is making baby tortoises, but he seems to have the wrong end surley.o_O More surreal than serene.

I love the lion shot, great facial expressions, the do look serene.

Not so sure about the look of the tortoise who's face we can see in that photo...

Love the Lions Chris, DOF is spot on, as is the facial expressions (y)
Cheers Chris :)
Yep agree with Chris, Great DoF and a nice licky shot, very on theme, so much in fact I'm ignoring the horney tortoise image, that's just filth, pure filth :D
I've gotta long way to go to beat Jill @Bruja yet Dean :D

As above Bernd, he seems happy enough.
I guess you'd call it a blow by blow account? ( sorry :coat: )
:D

Thanks for dropping by guys & gals

Love those lions, and what is more Serene than having your ears licked

And no, those tortoises don't get you anywhere level the filth required to overtake me :p

Shame on you for your on-topic lion shot Chris.....Lovely as it is.
The expression on the right hand lion is priceless, :-)

The toroiseseses...... @Bruja Jill's right, you've a long way to go to out filth her. :D

Chris,
Game:
You should have photo shopped off the back of your head for the first one ;)
I do love the furry animal price comparison shot though :)
Serene:
Aw bless the puddy tats, that's a great shot.
Not quite so sure about our shelled friends, and snow????

Sorry :(

As above I did think about smoking gun and tomato sauce all over the table, but I thought that would be a little too heavy
Not quite so sure about our shelled friends, and snow????
Strong sunlight through bushes, the Tortoise wasn't the only thing that was "blown" :D

Thanks for dropping by guys :)

Love, love, love the grittiness of your game shot - wow! But no animals..am I in the right thread?! I especially like the light catching the glass and bottle at each side emphasising the darkness (in all senses) in the middle. Great stuff :)
And the expression on that lion's face...just purrfect :D

That is a great shot of the ions Mr.C. - excellent crop of a gentle, serene scene.

So onto week 35 and back to the shoe horns (y)

Not everything is as it appears, not everything is black and white

Aha! The very rare purple zebra! Love it. :-)
And very nice work on the Mr Excited shot too. :-)

I agree with the above, that zebra is just bizarre to look at :wideyed:

Purple zebra for me. :D

a bit like something I saw this morning heading towards the Notting Hill Carnival.

5 days to go, is there going to be a different colour each day, I rather like the pink best.

Cheers Chris, it does look rather fetching doesn't it? :D

Nope that's it, no more colour, the poor thing was stressed enough with me slapping Dulux finest over it
latest

In these days of political correctness, that zebra should be rainbow zebra. :)
