weekly Cobra's 52 surreptitious Shoe-horns for 2016 week 52 celebrate and done

Like the BW Chris.
He certainly doesn't look like he's going anywhere fast! :-)

A static statistic huh. You and your linguistic gymnastics Mr Grey.......

Hardly a shoehorn at all MrP, must do better :D

Love the B&W conversion and lots of lovely detail there.

   but that is the only kind of Gymnastics I can manage these days :(
(Everyone say Awwwwwwwwww )

Hardly a shoehorn at all MrP, must do better :D
I know :( but as I said by way of an excuse :D
In a rush this week so your'll have to do with a notsomuch a shoehorn :D

Love the B&W conversion and lots of lovely detail there.
Thanks Jill :)

Hey Chris
Lone - The Wuluf shot was nice enough and on theme, but you had to drag us to the gutter ;)
Fauna - Oh dear, you're at it again [rolls eyes]
Static - Great shot of the big puddy cat. The b&w seems to suit it well.

Cracking image of he Lion Chris lovely details and textures, the black and white conversion.

Nope...definitely low on shoehorn points, but loved the info and a gorgeous shot of a handsome chap :)
I'm half way there Emma :D

Given those Statistics, the male is definitely well themed. He does look very regal lolling around like that. (You are slipping Mr.C. - the shoehorn crown is in jeopardy BEWARE).

A nice portrait Chris, the B&W suits the grey coming through (y)
Cheers Dean
I'm now wondering just how many of us will know the residents of Whipsnade Zoo inside out by the end of the year, and in some cases quite literally inside as well as out :D
Intimately dear chap, intimately :D

(You are slipping Mr.C. - the shoehorn crown is in jeopardy BEWARE).
I know, I was pushed for time this week, normal service will be resumed ASAP :D

Another shoehorn and no different from any other weeks. Good to know about all these Statistics, learning everyday
Glad to have been of service Stan :D

Thanks for dropping by guys

Great shot Chris, and perfect in the B&W .
Thanks Susie :)

our lions at Newquay have a football to play with o_O....do they do that at Whipsnade ??
Whipsnade lions are tougher than that, they have a rugby ball :D

Just kiddin' but they have things hanging from trees to play with.
And they sometimes hide some of the food in heavy duty tubes, and throw it over the fence.

Well as we seem to all be going off the wall this week,
How about a game of Russian Roulette?
(NSFW?)

BTW you maybe happy to hear that I didn't actually kill my self for my art :D

And in keeping with the shoe horns,
The Four Tops sang life is just a simple(s) game.
No idea what the game was, but it just seems like a grey area :D

That first shot is scarily theme fitting Chris... Stop it! :-)

The meerkats might be playing a game, might not. But they look like they're having fun

I thought you would have a seal balancing a ball somewhere, this is a sort of very laid back game, hide the thimble, perhaps. It seems to have seen something that shocked him, he's not the only one.:wideyed: Its shocking but not as shocking as the last Meekat photo, you know the cherry one.

I never take pictures of performing animals, so that's a none starter ;)

I did think of hide the sausage, but I couldn't remember where I left it, so that was a none starter too :D
but not as shocking as the last Meekat photo, you know the cherry one.
That could be it, in this one, he could be looking for his cherry

First image laid back?
Am I missing something?

First image laid back?
I had too much to drink, and fell a sleep over the table, some people cuddle a soft toy, when they sleep, I just happen to be cuddling a .22 revolver.
Perfectly normal.
:D

You, sir, are very strange. :D

Russian roulette is brilliant - conceptually and compositionally. Excellent in b&w - suits the nature of the image.

2 things...

Firstly I was relieved when I saw the first image, to say I was hesitant to press the link was an understatement !!!

Secondly - A bit disappointed that there is drink left in the glass :D

Liking that Chris, nice wide crop, nicely laid out just enough light to make it sombre looking, just need some smoke from the gun

love the Russian roulette pic top marks and not what i expected which makes it all the more better

:clap::clap:

First rule of getting someone to click through is to keep 'em guessing :D

Well, lets be honest, I wasn't actually expecting to die was I? :D

I did think about smoke from the gun, and a bit of tomato sauce ( :D ) splashed on the table, but wanted to keep it a little light.

Thanks Allan :)

Like your idea for the first shot. It looks like you drink yourself to death.
Its you lot, drives me to drink you does :p

As for the second, were they playing a game of relaxation? :)
Ah yes that'll be it :D Cheers Stan :)

That first shot is really very good Chris and on theme!! The B&W conversion really adds to the feel of the image.

The meerkats do look like they're having fun but where's the gob shoot?:D

First photo Game over, what will tomorrow bring. In the list there is a subject 'man', I can think of a few corkers with that title.

More excellent animal shots, and what's this a shot shot! Nice one! Gritty processing and I like the framing. (y)
