I have a D700 and a SB-600. I have set the D700 to auto FP (1/320sec), which I believe in the High Speed Sync mode. This allows me to get high sync speeds on camera but not off camera when using CLS where it is limited to 1/320 sec.
I seem to remember that in the Sony system I had before the high speed sync works off camera too, is this not the case with the Nikon system?
