Thanks Paul.Nice! And well converted to B&W.
Thanks Bill. The trees were growing in an area that became a permanent lake many years ago. They are all now gradually falling down. This one is right on the edge of the lake and the water has eroded all the soil from around its roots. The b&w processing does suit this very well. Was this due to storm damage or just erosion of the shoreline?
Thanks Ross.Great spot and so much scale in the photo. Real drama in B+W too!!
Cheers Dave.That's a belter![]()
Thanks Tim.The power of nature.
Works nicely in B&W and the diagonal composition is good.
TP52 2025. Week 13 Texture by Peter C, on FlickrThank you Paul.An effective take on the theme.
Thanks Keith. A lot of church memorials are just the right height to run a hand over them.Good texture shot, the chain mail shows up well, looks like the side of helmet is quite smooth, assume that’s from being touched by people over the years.
Thanks Alan. Quite agree about the craftsmanship.Amazing craftsmanship, back in the day. Lovely textures too
Cheers Dave.Yep - well textured![]()

TP52 2025 Week 16 After the Rain by Peter C, on FlickrThanks Keith.Nice macro, never thought I would like a shot of a clothes peg![]()
Thank you Paul.I like it, nice colour contrast and nice shallow DoF.
Cheers Dave.Pegged that one![]()
Thank you.Nice bit of colour theory there
Cheers Bill. Much appreciated.I keep scrolling up and looking at it. The colours work really well and the clothes line along with the droplets add a lot of interest. I think that it's really well done.
Thanks Stan.Nice one, Pete. Love the shallow depth-of-field and the dark background helps to focus attention on the pegs.
Cheers Simon. You've pegged that shot Pete!
Thanks AlanReally like this, colours work well
