Thanks Keith. It is holly. The church is decorated with fresh greenery for Christmas and it is taken out at Candlemas.Good shot and well framed, is that holly on the window seat
Thanks Simon. That works. The dartboard though...![]()
Thanks John.I wonder how many sheds have that toolbox in lovely pic
Peat?Smashin' shot Pete![]()
Yep! Broken pot. Didn't want to make it too obviousBroken Pot ?
I'm not sure otherwise. But the greens and terracota compliment each other nicely.
Thanks Wayne.Nice simple colours and the jagged leaves go well with broken pot.
Thanks Simon.Subtle take on the theme, but lovely shot.
Thanks Bill.Broken pot and a broken Sempervivum, really nice shot Pete.
Much appreciated Allan. Its a nicely framed shot, excellent work.
I did get rather wet walking from the car to the shop before I took thisMeets the theme but god I hate these weather conditions
Today is the first time it's rained here since you announced the theme last week. I was getting a bit jitteryI had a similar idea - raining again most of today, and fed up with it.
I had to walk all the way to the carAt least you're warm in the car. Minx has had my carr all week, I had to walk to get my shot!
B&W works for the weather. Dunno, but I might have been tempted to go a bit OTT with clarity/contrast/de-haze to produce an edgy shot. Might not have worked though.
Thanks Nick. I forgot to claim the framing tech again. That works. The mono treatment emphasises the drabness of the weather. It's probably a candidate for the framing tech too.
Thanks Paul. That certainly fits the bill!
Cheers Dave. Hope you got something. Some good pics to be had in the rain if you can keep the camera dry!Nice one Pete. I was out taking photos in the cold and rain today. Cos I'm bonkers![]()

Cheers Simon.Good idea and works well!
Thanks Allan. That’s a really good image for the theme
Thanks Jak.Excellent![]()
Cheers Adam.Hits the theme and tech nicely in my opinion
Thanks Paul.Yup, two ticks from me!
Cheers Dave.Yep - nicely done![]()
Thanks Nick.Nice composition, and I really like the window light. Well spotted.
Cheers Simon.Fab shot Pete. I like that.
Cheers Tim.Good choice not to go directly head on. It enables more interest in the shot.
Thanks Bill. Much appreciated.I'm liking both your rainy shot and your "through" shot Pete. The processing on the rainy shot is excellent as is the processing on the "through" shot.
Thanks Dominic. I did pop a small light on the background wall.Good job. Love the stonework and light.
