The TP52 - 2026 Cloudforest’s 52 for 26. Week 11 Red

Lovely jubbly!

Tough to get the stone colour correct and you have nailed it Pete, lovely shot.

That's nice Pete. I love the lighting in this.
Thanks Simon.

Yes, lovely lighting in the scene.
Cheers Paul.

I like the shapes in that. Almost abstract.
Thanks Nick.

Lovely jubbly!
Much appreciated Dave.

Nice image to start the year
Thanks Allan.

Very nice image and lighting here :)
Cheers Adam.

That's appreciated Wayne.

Good capture. You've got the lighting bang on, on the columns with the roof disappearing into almost darkness.
Cheers Tim. I got lucky with the light coming in through the windows!

That’s an old cantilever tool box isn’t it?

The little flecks of blue paint really make this picture, alongside the spider webs !

Just the job for this week, certainly meets the theme and looks like the tools do as well.

Tidy! Takes me back to my Grandads shed as a kid. Nice use of DOF.

Cheers Keith. It was a good find, at the right time.

Yep, that works a treat Pete
Thanks Simon.

Thanks Nick. I'm sure I had one in a similar state a few years ago!

That works, nice image
Thanks Allan.

Almost as good as new that.
I think I've seen worse on Bangers & Cash ;)
Cheers Tim. I'll get some WD 40 sprayed on!

When did you sneak into my shed and embarrass ma and my toolbox, great shot.

Two great images Pete, I love the shot of the details of the church and your rusty shot is spot on.

Nicely done. You've controlled the highlights well, nothing seems to be blown out.
You could have used this month's technique "framing".

As per Dominic's comment, this would also work for the technique.
Why does is the person on the right carrying a dart board?
Not something I would expect from a 14th century religious scene ;)

Thanks Dominic. I never thought to include the tech as well!

Thanks Tim. The answer is rather gruesome. The figure on the right is Catherine of Alexandria (later Saint Catherine) who, in the 4th century, was tortured on a spiked wheel as she refused to deny her Christian faith.

Lovely colours, nice framing too!
Thanks Simon.

Now I’ve seen the dart board, I can’t un-see it !
It does rather get you that way :)
