Hi Folks,

I have a bit of a dilemma, I am looking to buy a new coat but being a "larger" guy I am finding it near on impossible to find one that fits.

I have tried all the major retail outfits but none go up to my size.

I am looking for a coat that will fit a 53" to 54" inch chest.

I have done an internet search and found a few reputable looking websites that outfit the bigger guy but most only have coats starting at 58" chest which is way to big.

It seems like I am stuck in limbo coat wise, retail outfits stop just short of my size and all of the bigger man outfitters seem to start there sizes just over my size requirements - there just doesn't seem to be anywhere that does "in between" them size wise.

So here I am asking if anyone knows of a reputable dealer, either retail or online, that stocks my size of coat - oh and at a reasonable price.

Just to clarify I need a coat that has a chest size of 53" to 54" ( with a regular arm length)

Are these any good to you?

BigTall - Banks' Birmingham - I have used them in the past as I'm 6ft 7 so shop from the "tall" range. Just clicked on a few of the coats in the "big" range and they start at 46/48 chest all the way up to 68.

There is also High and Mighty but their sizing is hard to work out (although I live near one of their larger stores so its no hassle for me to pop in and try on first hand) and they are pretty pricey.

These guys BigFishClothing also stock coats in your size range (approx 3 or 4XL would be about right) - I'm sure there is a sizing guide on there.

I've shopped with Jacamo a few times, being a big lad myself they have a good range of large to bloody large sizes :) Also I've got a La Redoubt jacket which is very nice quality and they also do big sizes.
 
Jacamo and Crazy Clearance are both a part of the J D Williams/Sanders & Kay group and personally I would avoid them like the plague.

Why would you avoid them? Do you know something I dont. I have had excellent service from that group for years and there are some real bargains to be found sometimes.
