Cloth or paper background

wondering what your opinions are im looking to do some home shoots at friends and family but im a little stuck

advantage so far with cloth - washable - easy and small storage - weasy transporting

paper background - rips easy - needs to be a good one to get marks off easyily

so what your opinion is it better to photograph with a cloth one or a paper

im looking for a white one

white as in high key white - vinyl every time

if you want to have options white paper

just short of 3 meters in width about 2,7 is vinyl long lasting ???? if so would you say about 6 meters to be saft for the drop aswell

any recomendations on where to go too

3x6 is plenty long enough, and yes it long lasting and is easy washable, i use perspex on top of mine for flooring, and ebay sell it at good prices,

If just using it for occasional use, get paper Vinyl is very heavy, more expensive and doesn't give quite the same 'look' as paper, when using it non-blown out. Good for professional studios or event photographers, less good for hobby use.

colourworld do something like 4 rolls of paper for £125 delivered...
