Close up lens kit

I think (in fact I know) that you'd be very disappointed. If you don't want to spend £200+ on a macro lens then £75 or so for a set of Kenko extension tubes is your only viable option.

Sorry :(

Bob

I would go for the extension tubes either Kenko or Jessops.

If the lens you want to put it on is of decent quality, then Raynox close-up filters could be good. Otherwise either reverse mount your kit lens or do what Canon Bob suggests.[/QUOTE]

ordered one form e-bay today £4.99 these are the details

This auction is for a lens reversing ring made from black anodized aluminium. One side of the ring has a bayonet mount to fit your Canon EOS EF mount camera body. The other side has a 58mm thread to attach to your lens filter thread (use a step down ring if your lens filter attachment diameter is greater than 58mm).

see how i go on with it if its any good then i will buy a 62mm-58mm step down ring for use with my sigma but really would i need to get that close?

Kind Regards Mark
