Cloning skin on photoshop

I have been asked to remove one of those wrist bands that u get on all inclusive holidays from pictures from someone I Work with using Photoshop . I have tried using the clone tool but it looks rubbish any ideas please

For larger areas I'd just copy and paste another section of skin, use a decent feather then try the brightness/contrast slider to blend, or try airbrushing it out with a super soft brush, say 30/30 flow and opacity.
