Hi all,

I have this photo which I absolutely love. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, I slightly missed focus on it.

I really like the photo as it is, but a few photographer friends have told me it really needs something IN FOCUS to draw you in.

What I intend on doing is in two parts:

1) cloning in a new section of pier in-front of the couple from another photo (I have a photo taken only seconds afterwards which is in-focus, but they aren't posing in the same way or Id have used that photo!) If I can get that running along the bottom of the frame (in-between the white border, and my watermark) and then:

2) cloning the couple's shoes from another photo into the IN FOCUS part from step 1.

It will require quite a bit of cloning work..more than I've ever done before.

Im just after any general advice re how to go about doing this in Photoshop?

NB apols about the photo and watermark, Im out and about and only have a low-res watermarked version on my phone to upload.

Thanks :)

Did she have a bouquet? That's what I would use. The problem you have is that it is very blurry and possibly another 'in focus' item close to the couple may make the image look very strange/fake and that might make it worse.

I agree with Tom and think you should just do something artistic with it in Photoshop
