I took this candid today and really like it.

To my mind it's a shame the man got in the way.

I've tried cropping and cloning out what's left of him but I cannot get it right due to the sleeve of the boy's cardigan being a different texture / direction from the rest.

I also converted to B&W which I think is more pleasing

Any advice please?

I wouldn't bother to be honest. It is unlikely you could ever make a convincing job so just put it down to bad luck and try again.

Agreed, upsetting as it is sometimes you just have to accept that it's a goner :( Better luck next time.

Don't know if this is what you are after, could prob have got a better result with a higher res. Bored on nights so had a quick play ! Hope you don't mind.

That works. Nice job

You guys were up late!

Thanks - that's just what I was trying to do.

How did you do it? I'm OK on basic cloning but coiuldn't get the contours / grain of the material right. :help:

No probs, you've just got to clone along the contour lines, frequently changing the sample point, then a bit of gaussian blur to tidy up. I try to use a small brush as well.

Have another go, practice makes perfect !

If you struggle let me know.
