Yeah as long as all of the cameras have the same time on them, makes life easier when sorting through them later and they're in the right order

I set mine the day I buy them and never change them after that.

I do, although never quite sure why. It helps sorting photos if you're also taking phone pics (since the phone will update to local time), but with multiple cameras you'll always forget one.
