Yes
Yup, time to spend an age changing all the timepieces in your house, cars, wrist etc.. As the Spice Girls put it "2 becomes 1"!

My car won't be :(

Still it goes for servicing in December so it will be corrected then :)

More ZZZZZZZZZZ time

Absolute pain in the blox, we need to stop it! (this changing nonsemse, not time itself....although that would be good)
At least we get an extra hour in bed.

Only have to change my watch.
Everything else is automatic. Not a pita at all :-)

The real pig is that I'll be a mole for the next few months. Going to work in the dark...coming home in the dark :(

I normally love the "extra hour in bed" but I am planning on going to the Elan Valley for sunrise tomorrow. Ok I get an extra hour of time to drive there, but as I can leave any time after 630pm I don't need it (its under 7hrs drive) and would rather sunrise was earlier rather than later as it means the return to Glasgow will be later.

Or I could ignore the whole thing and keep me on BST for another day or not risk the questionable forecast and watch tv into the small hours...

Usual 8 hours kip here, just a Sunday that's an hour longer for me. Hopefully a spare hour to catch up on the MotoGP.

I always spare a thought for the night shift workers who get to work an extra hour without pay. (My old job used to say it was made up for when the clocks went forward but very few would work both as the hour forward shift seemed to comprise of whoever the rota manager's favourites were.)

Even your car?

Yup, most of our timepieces are radio controlled but there are still plenty that aren't - cars, cookers etc. so still a PITA, especially when one gets forgotten!

Haha, funny you mention that.. Many moons ago I got a job @ Michelin. I didn't really like it tbh, 6-2, 2-10,10-6 (4 on-4 off rolling shifts) + if you were working on Fri & Sat nights you went in an our earlier so the previous 2-10 shift could go out.

I think I was on about my 3rd week & working Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun nights. AND it was the w/end the clocks went back! 10 hrs on a Saturday night? .........[PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER] that. I jacked it in!

My Mercedes was. Changed automatically. I reckon a jaguar should be the same

Mrs Nod's is a '96 and the Clio isn't a Jag...

"Got the time on yer?"

Alarm changes on its own and so does the phone. Don't need a watch so it's not a bother for me. I like staying up and watching it go back live. I pretend I'm in a time machine.

Love it especially the cooker one, I inherited it with this place and have no idea how it works, car is easy though

MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ......................... Roast dinner! Missed out last week since Mrs Nod had an evil cold.

They'll be doing a 13 hour shift tonight where I work. I'm glad to be getting the extra hour in bed this year.

I was meaning Ruth's car. She has an XF iirc

As it were I'm off to the Élan Valley unless the met office informs me it's now crap

Errr no.
She has an Audi. :-)
Occassionally drive the company Jag though.

This thread made my day as I was thinking clock are going forward tonight and we gonna loose an hour ...

Ahhh, b****r! I was going to post on here @ 1.59 .......then again 2 minutes later, just to see the times in reverse order. (I forgot. so will have to wait until next year now)

Extra hour in bed? Pah!

Instead of being awake at 7 this morning, I was awake at 6. Damned body clock!
Similar here too, :(
But the "6am" alarm in the morning will be most welcome over the usual 5am one

Aye, cloudy but with breaks, and low winds. Its rubbish everywhere I would normally go up here, got some things to do around the house and will set off around 1030pm...

How'd it go? I decided on Wednesday instead as mist has been forecast.

I try to change the car clock at the first red traffic light. You get the time right and pass the time waiting for green. It's a 12 year old car.

Yup, the body clock's hard to set to an hour's difference - easier in spring since an alarm can do the waking. We did manage to drop off again after the initial early waking but the cat doesn't understand the change.. Did mean that we could drop down to Mrs Nod's studio to change the clocks there and go for a coffee in Exmouth since we were up and about. Planned to visit a café in Topsham where Mrs Nod features in a photographic exhibition as a model but they were shut when we tried.
