Yesterday I went to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. This museum was reopened last year following a massive refurbishment.

On the way to the museum one of the street performers in Covent Garden spotted me taking pictures and I got involved in the act. He posed for pictures much to the laughter of the big audience

After visiting the Museum wandered around Covent Garden where there was an Irish market.

I then walked down to Trafalgar Square where an anti war demo was taking place. Took more pics!

After that I wandered down to St James Park and then on to Victoria.

A lot of walking but worth it! I even went in to Marks & Spencer and did some clothes shopping!!!

Here's one of my fav pics of the day. They happily posed for pictures after I had made a donation to the charity they were collecting for.

Now I think Covent Garden would make a great TP meet!

Great picture, but more importantly; really nice to hear about someone going out and about and not being stopped and challenged. It seems to be all we hear about these days!! Well done.

Great picture and a lovely tale! It sounds like it was a very enjoyable day out indeed! :)
