Clicker count?

I see you are on Flickr. Just upload the pic to there and let us know :)
Someone else can then find the info for you.

When I've tried it with previous cameras (nikon) I have sold I've had to take a low res (Low MP) JPEG image especially for getting a shutter count. I've found some websites don't like raw files or hi res jpegs.

I tried a low res photo on myshuttercount. It wouldn't work. It would just hang on uploading, and eventually time out.
Thats why I resorted to eosinfo.

Well, Donna emailed me the file.

Photoshop shows the image number as 0

Exif viewer shows the actuation counter as 0

Myshuttercount crashes.

Camerashuttercount says no information available.

So its a mystery!

Jeffery Friedl's exif has no shutter count info, just the file number..

Exif-viewer.com shows no shutter count but has file number as 6939

Metapicz shows no shutter count but has file number as 6939

Shocking!!! I don't remember even having to highlight a picture. I just linked the camera to the pc and ran the software. A little box opened saying owners name, and 55k shutter clicks. I have mailed you.

managed to open the programme only problem it needs the camera connected to the computer ahhhhhhhh:mad::mad:

Hi Donna, just put your photo in lightroom and it says this image has been CROPPED can you send me the original unedited file, cheers mike.

Uncropped size is 4272 x 2848, which is the file size emailed to me. Lightroom says cropped size, but its the same as the original size.

It's not cropped, it's as I took it.
No editing at all, could it be cause my camera isn't full frame??

No just lightroom being lightroom lol anyway I've tried everything i can and all say the same thing not being rude but as its a beginner camera and probably dosnt have more than 10000 clicks on it i don't see the buyers problem

I couldn't find any shutter count info on the Flickr photos either.
There must be a reason.

The mystery continues lol
Ok thankyou very much to all of you that has tried to help me x

the op could be stripping exif data when posting to flickr?
Most of the exif data was there, though they had been through Lightroom. Pics are about 3 years old though.

The photo Donna sent to tom and i was taken today then sent via email so straight from camera really all exif was intact but none of the readers i tried would give shutter count i wonder if a raw file would work?

Worth a try.
The data must be there.

Can you upload an unedited pic straight to Flickr?

I've got an unedited photo and the info is not there.. I can't say why, but it's not. I've used at least 5 different methods to extract the info and everything bar shutter count is there.
I'm guessing the camera isn't recording it for some reason, maybe a firmware issue, who knows.
