It's a clear night in Cardiff, yep I nearly fell over as well, so going for a long star trail exposure... Hoepfully the clouds stay away for a little while

Not really tried this before, we'll see in an hour or so ....Anyone got any examples?

Had mixed results oot in the countryside - it's something I'd like to have a crack at again.
Not sure how well or not it'll go here. Patience is the key!

just in the back garden mate - Tripod on and locked ! should have checked who was on-line first mate. Already I want to stop and see the results....

Neil, I live on the cowbridge rd. end of Llandaff road - my "garden" is a 2ft sq patio with high walls on two sides and buildings on the other two!

If you get anything decent results wise we'll have to head out and try it with some interesting foregrounds. The parks are perfect, as their "lack" of lighting is probably about right for this (they'll have some light from pollution on them, and with exposures 2-30 minutes long, they'll start to brighten nicely).

And if we can't seem to get anything in the city, we'll just have to head farther afield
