How often should you clean your lens's? and the camera?? and best method?

When their dirty - normally after a motocross meeting for me!

I use Mr Sheen but I spray a small amount on a duster and then clean the camera, never spray directly onto the camera itself. Or I use the lens cleaning solution as that evaporates!

Carl.

I give them a blow with the rocket blower quite regularly especially before an important session.

always check and clean lens before taking any important photos keep a blower and cloth in your bag you never know when you might just get something on your lens when out and about.
Oh and a good idea is to blow of around the lens mount when changing lens

I clean the outside with a large dry microfibre cloth, nothing expensive but it keeps finger grease and skin acid to a minimum.

For my lenses I first use a rocket blower for loose dust, then I use Boots spectacle cleaning liquid ( cheap ) in one microfibre cloth ( again boots ) to wipe away greasy marks and grime. Then a dry microfibre cloth to polish the lens.

:D

:DPhewwww I have been doing it right then

I was selling a sand blaster on here a while ago, I think it had a Canon lens cleaning attachment.

I find it best not to clean the camera or lenses, I've then got an excuse for the carp pictures.
