whats the best way to do this as ive got dust on mine and dont wish to use any old rubbish!
:help:

a rocket blower , if i'ts more than dust then i use eclipse solution & pec pads , not cheap but very good.

Kev - a couple of purchases to consider are:

A rocket blower as said below
A lens brush (you can get a good retractable 'lip stick' type brush from jessops)
A microfibre cloth
Eclipse lens fluid.

All in all you're looking at about £20 well spent

:agree: if you give a e-bay search for dslr cleaning kits you will get some up about £15 and £2.50 postage for starter kit thats blower pads and fluid.

Spit and the end of your t-shirt. Or, if it's the Canon kit lens, Dettol and a wire brush.

ill get on there later then Many Thanks :)

(just for now a lint free cloth ok?)

The Canon kit lens is very able - dont worry about it
