Yes
Hi guys, I got a fair bit of dust on my sensor the other day (probably in a lens change while out and about)

I bought a sensor cleaning kit for my camera (as i like doing things myself)

Here are some links to the sensor dust tests (be warned they're a few meg each)

After

There is still a bit of dust on the after picture... will this be ok.

Eek! That first one is horrible!

2nd looks fine - yes there are still a couple of spots but the main one lower down will usually be concealed by your subject anyway, and the one at the top if it's visible is an easy clone. Better to stop now than risk doing damage - as I think one of my fellow female members will confirm?! :D

Yea thats what I thought, the top bit of dust could easily be cropped or cloned (seing as its usually in the sky)... and I don't really want to spend too much time cleaning the sensor... (cant afford to replace it at the min)

My first thought at first glance was my gosh there's still a huge black smudge across the middle... but then i realised that was my laptop screen! My big dribbly dog has clearly been surfing while I was out!

lol, at least I can now spend more time taking pictures instead of spending all of my time using a very fine clone stamp in PS all day!!

After about 8 swipes (and a few scrubs....for the really hard ones)

Yep, any thoughts of a one pass swish with a pad are soon out the window if its been a while since it was last cleaned or was new.
I did my D70 a couple of months ago for the first time in two years, used a ten pack of swabs, didn't want to use the same one for two passes and put muck back on, I thought if I'm gonna clean it....I'm gonna clean it.

A few weeks and it'll be covered in crap again, I suppose...:gag:
