Cleaning mirror

Usually my rocket blower removes dust from my camera, but i have dust spec that is clearly seen in the viewfinder but doesnt appear on images. What is the best method for cleaning the mirror, i hear its more risky than the sensor as you can knock it out of alignment.

P.S Also is there any way to tell if its not the mirror but on the focus screen part instead?

not only that but the mirror is surface silvered so anything you do - even thinking hard - will destroy the surface
the good news is if the spec is clear it's PROB90 on the focus screen!

rocket ought to move it unless it's stuck hard

It will be on the ground glass focus screen not the mirror.

Dust on the screen happens. If it don't come off easy then leave it and forget about it. You could spend ages to get it off then get more back tomorrow. Not worth the effort
