New 80D on the way and getting more serious about my photography and also need to spruce up my 60D along with a couple of lenses so needing some advice on cleaning kits etc.

Seems to be thousands out there ranging from pennies to lots of pounds.

Don't want to spend a fortune on the emperors new clothes but don't want to scrimp either

Any suggestions/links ?

Many thanks

Tony

I used the wet cleaning kit from Digipads when I cleaned my D700 sensor.

Really good kit and comes with the Eclipse cleaning fluid.

That reminds me, I must advertise the remnants of the kit here as I've now gone Fuji crop sensor. I only used 2 swabs and the rest are sealed and new.

For exterior cleaning, I give an initial clean with IPA and then use Armourall to make the plastic look good again. Same as Terry mentioned for sensor and I just use rocket blower to help and a lens pen for the glass.

For stubborn marks ... try a q-tip / ear swab sprayed with some glasses cleaner. For larger areas use a glass cleaning cloth sprayed with similar.
