Cleaning help after extremely dusty outing

hi all.

Never taken my gear out to anything but nice clean areas, today I ventured into MX.

I have a D500 and everything got covered in dust, never changed lens or anything, so believe inside is fine.

Is it a good idea to use a can of compressed air to shirt the dust or will this just push dust deeper ??

Advise please to get the dust off and out of places it shouldn’t be.

I’d start with a nice soft brush.

and the nozzel off your vacuum cleaner, suck don't blow-look how the National Trust remove dust

I have a soft new paint brush and if you use the vacuum i have one of those nozzles that come with tubes of silicone etc taped on the end, this gives me a fairly small opening.
