Does anyone have a particular idea on what works best on the F" Glass Focus Screens?

With the plastic ones I gently agitate soap foam and then rinse and dry with a hair dryer and repeat.

The F2 screens I am lead to believe ar glass so should be a little hardier?

I usually end up making mine look worse when I've tried cleaning them, whether acrylic or glass! The only thing I know which can't do any harm is a blower brush (a powerful one like a Giottos Rocket). If that doesn't work I'm not confident of being able to clean it. But as you say, the glass ones are definitely less prone to scratching, and because they're so easy to remove on the F2, it's not difficult to keep them in good nick.

Not trying to encourage you to spend money, but one of the nice things about the F2 (or F3) is the range of focusing screens available. There's plenty of them about too.

Oh @TheGreatSoprendo I have allready got my eye on a few focus screens as I am a big fan of the plain screen without the fucus prism.

They're so easy to change on these that you can easily swap them about to suit different lenses or shooting conditions. Nikon system awesomeness!

... I am a big fan of the plain screen ...
So I'm not the solitary ecccentric I thought I was!

Francesco - wasn't a plain focus screen where we came in?
